Take your students on a trip around the world with this engaging, geography curriculum. Expedition Earth is for grades 5-12 and can be completed for high school credit. This curriculum covers 195 countries and includes mapwork, flashcard games, and more. Students should be able to recognize countries by their shape and by their flag by the time they complete this.
This curriculum is only available as a digital download and can be reproduced only for your family’s use or with the publisher’s permission for classrooms.
In this course, your student will learn about the people that live in each country, what kind of food they eat and grow, cultural and religious activities, and more. The book includes lesson plans to follow for each day and gives extra digital links that you can click on for more information about the country you are studying.
Lessons are laid out in a 5-day per week format and end each week with a quiz, so you can keep track of what your student is learning. There are also recipes to go with each section so you can sample the foods of some of the countries you are learning about. Add to your student’s knowledge with extra questions and library books. Many of the extras are included on a CD-ROM for printing.
