History Quest is Pandia Press’ elementary program. It uses the combination of storytelling and hands-on activities to make history alive for your children.
At the time of this post (2022), there are two books in the series, with a third one in progress.
- Book 1: Early Times
- Book 2: Middle Times
- Book 3: Modern Times (not available yet)
In the meantime, they have a special “Bridge” program to fill the gap between this program and their high school program, History Odyssey.
In History Quest, students learn about history through rich stories and hands-on activities, combined with writing, mapping, a timeline, and discussion. A unique feature of the program is the “History Hop” where children spend time learning about different people and places in history more in-depth as if they were time-travelling into different places.
This secular program requires a read-aloud text and its corresponding study guide for each level. Audiobook options are also available.
