Schoolhouse Teachers is an online curriculum for grades PreK – 12. Parents pay a subscription fee, either yearly or monthly, which will give you access to the curriculum for your entire family. Choose which courses you’d like your child to complete or choose a curriculum box that comes with lesson plans for each subject premade and ready to use. Some courses come with downloadable pdf texts and others are done completely online.
Parents can choose to make use of the Applecore record keeping software to track their student’s progress. Track courses, print report cards, transcripts, and more with this program.

We are utilizing school house teachers this year for the majority of our subjects, all but math. I have three kids schooling, 11th, 8th, & 5th grades. I am very please with the lessons at this point. I like that they have options with video lessons, that works well for some of my visual/audio learners. The Christian based history options are a great option to mix in for kids who are bored with traditional history. I feel the curriculum is well established within the age/grades it specifies, not way over or under as some online curriculum can be. The only negative thing I could say at this point is, in the beginning it’s A LOT of work for Mom. A LOT of printing, grasping to understand the flow so you can explain it clearly to the student. However, with that being said I feel the work I had to put in was WELL WORTH the cost for access to this site. I was fortunate enough to get in on the bogo free year deal- so for $200 I have our curriculum for two full school years. That’s well worth the work and headache it took to figure out the flow of each course. Now we are humming a long with minimal work! Thankful for this website!
